i had a lot of these this summer, i was kind of obsessed a little.
you usually make them on a camp fire, but when one of those isn't convenient...you use the grill of course!
how to make me a banana boat:
1st: peel one section of the banana down to the buttom but not all the way off (you will use the peel away as the cover in the end so keep it attached at bottom.)
2nd: scoop a little bit of the banana out, leaving atleast half the banana in there. (this leaves room for toppings to go in w/portion of the banana thats left)
3rd: you put in anything you want but the "normal" is chocolate (symphony is the best), marshmellows, and if you want, other things like- peanut butter, caramel etc.
4th: you put the attached part of the peel that you pulled down like in step one, and you bring in back up to make the banana look like it did before you started (except of course it's shoved with sweets, so it's a bit chubby)
5th: take a square of tin foil. fold up all the sides of the tin foil then meet the tops together and fold the tin foil so when you go to open it you can do it from the top.
6th: grill (or campfire style) your banana wrapped in tin foil. stay close because it only takes about 10 min. or a little less.
7th: eat it all. just indulge. it's super yummy...and some what healthy because it's 1/2 fruit too right? hehe.
