{#61} school may have started but...
i techniqually have until September 22nd {when fall begins} to finish my list of 101 summer events. i know i'll make it!
...
anyway, i loved the first day of school! when i was in elementary school that is...
once you get in college it's not as exciting for me for some reason.
maybe it's because it lacks the excitement of..
1. new school clothes {personal shopping time with mom}
2. being able to buy a huge box of crayons and know they will be of great use.
i miss those days. i miss old friends.

{#60} we had ourselves a little yard sale.
so, i have kind of become obsessed with thrift shopping and yard sales. i really love that retro- 70's mix match patterns look. you can honestly find some of the coolest little nic-nacs {i love to put in my room}. this week, we decided to throw our own yard sale {not as fun as being a customer}.

this was in our tree.
story: my sister thought she could handle the "bee" situation and thought she would stab a hole in it.
oh no! the bees weren't too happy with this giant hole..
we hurry and called the "bug guy" this is what he said.
"your sister made them upset...
they are very angry...about all 300 of them."
"they could kill a small animal, stay out of the back yard"
does my niece count as a small animal? oh no, not maddy!
...
don't worry, thanks to "bug guy" were safe.
no small animals died.

{#41} slip n' slide!
this is the only picture i took this day.
you can't really see the water slide or anything but,
it was so fun that my mom got a concusion and had to
take a trip to the emergency room.
other than that, if you have never done a GIANT slip n' slide.

i honestly love my singles ward! i had my doubts about going at first...
but, the bishopric is awesome and so are the people in it.
i lOVE making new friends and this ward has brought me many treasured friendships.
